These prices are guidelines only, and are based upon a roof mounted system installed on an average walkable south facing roof utilizing 4' x 12' panels, with the pool filter located within 15' of the house.

Actual installation prices can vary due to the following factors:

  • Length of piping from the solar panels to the pool filter

  • Direction that the roof faces (east, west, and north facing roofs may
    require additional panel area)
  • Whether trenching is required to conceal the pipes

Ground mounted systems can add approximately $2.70 per square foot of installed panel area
to the total cost for construction of a ground mounted rack.

Actual cost for a pool heating system is based upon the job requirements and could vary by a factor of 10% higher or lower.

The prices shown include automatic controls, if controls are deleted deduct $320.00 from the prices.
